15-N based methods for measuring BNF

The methodology consists of two parts. (1) The principles of  the delta15-N (15-N natural abundance) techniques to determine biological nitrogen fixation in legume crops - a few points to consider (after Unkovich et al. 2008); (2) A strategy for measuring BNF by temperate grain legumes at Legume Futures sites (e.g. Balruddery, Dundee, Scotland) using the delta15-N technique.
